Liz Hawkins did an amazing job creating a joint website for the five churches which make up the Forest Group of URCs. This was quite a complex issue, getting five groups of people and the happenings of five church buildings onto one website.
Liz worked very fast and efficiently, with a good eye for detail as well as the bigger picture. She gave good advice for the page set-up, was always quick to try things out to get the best results, and shared useful knowledge eg on using stock photography from the internet.
She created a nice new logo for us and had a good feel for the balance of aesthetics and content we were after.
She is a great communicator: doesn’t use jargon, but explains well the techie side of things if that’s relevant. She gave pros and cons to possible choices and all in all was really easy to talk to, very professional, reliable, clear.
Before coming to Liz I didn’t know anything about building websites. But now I and a team of three people have been equipped and trained by her to keep it all updated, and she’s around, supporting us should we have questions.
